I got this on Facebook from my son-in-law and my son. It’s about “wing suits” and is related to base jumping. If you haven’t seen it, prepare to feel your heart race. That’s the biggest thrill I’ve had since Brian almost dumped Aunt Jessie out of the casket (he really did).

I heard them say that they reach speeds around 100 mph.
How do they slow down enough to land ?
I’ve seen these suits before, but I have never considered what is involved with slowing and landing.
Do they slow enough to stop on land ? or do they cruise into a lake or such ?

I don’t know about all of them, but at least two of them are seen deploying a chute of some kind. It looked like all of them were wearing something like it. Because they haven’t plummeted a or two straight down, I would imagine that a smaller chute would be adequate.
